Premium Posture Assessment

How to get the most out of your Premium Posture Assessment:

First, let's talk about how you are going to prepare to take your photographs.

The process of obtaining your pictures should take no more than 2-3 minutes after you have set up your camera and gotten dressed.

Things you will need:

1. Smart phone/computer with camera

2. Open space in your home

  • we need to be able to see your entire body, from your head to toes.

  • good lighting

3. Internet connection to upload or email your photos.

How to Prepare for Quality Posture

Assessment Photos.

1. CAMERA LEVEL

Your camera needs to be as level as possible- not rotated, angled, or tilted. You must be perpendicular to the line of sight of your camera! The further you are away from the center of the lens, the more distorted your images will be.

2. CAMERA HEIGHT

Keep your phone’s camera between belly button and chest height. If not, your body will look distorted, and our data/analysis will be less accurate.

3. MINIMAL CLOTHING

The less clothing you are wearing (please wear sports bra/shorts, no underwear), the better information we will get. We want to see your body’s bony landmark points (knee caps belly button, spine, elbows, etc…).

How to Take the Photos

(for those of you doing this on your own)

After you have gotten your camera squared up and are wearing the appropriate clothing as explained above, you will want to start recording a VIDEO.

1. Step into the frame of your camera, making sure that we can see you from the bottom of your feet, to the top of your head.

2. First, face forward toward the camera, standing as relaxed as possible with your arms at your sides.

3. Then, after pausing here for a few seconds, turn to your side so that your right shoulder points directly at the camera lens. Look straight ahead (not at the camera). Pause for a few seconds.

4. Then, you will turn 90 degrees so that your back faces the camera. Pause here for a few seconds.

5. Then, turn 90 degrees, again, so that your left shoulder is pointed right at the camera lens. Look straight ahead (not at the camera) and pause for a few seconds

6. Stop recording your video
